Search Netflix Instant Quickly on iPhone with Launch Center Pro

Sharing cool movies on Netflix Instant is ridiculously difficult, especially on the iPhone. Here’s how to do it quicker using the Launch Center Pro app.

It’s ridiculously simple: just add a new “bookmark” action to LCP and use the following URL, which already has Launch Center Pro’s input prompt code included:

http://movies.netflix.com/WiSearch?raw_query=movie&ac_category_type=none&ac_rel_posn=-1&ac_abs_posn=-1&v1=%5Bprompt%5D&search_submit=

Next time you need to do a search on Netflix Instant, just launch Launch Center Pro, choose that bookmark action, and it will prompt you for the search terms and open the result in Safari.

I’m not holding my breath for Netflix to offer this brain-dead feature to their iOS app anytime soon.
